"Sustain the Romanian products" campaign. Europa FM radio had a big campaign for the Romanian producers and in the end they gave bags with different products to people that came in 3 hypermarkets from Bucharest. I did the pictures for them. :)

Alison, Day # 55 and # 56: Birds of a Feather.

The parents have the neatest community of birds getting cozy in their front yard these days. And with a Florida room composed of 75 % window/25 % wall, you can see everything so clearly without disturbing the birdies while they feast. The first picture is of a pair of house wrens. Before we enclosed our Florida room, a pair returned to the rafters year after year to nest.

This is your typical Blue Jay. From what I've been told, they can be quite mean. But he looks so dashing and adorable. And he's actually quite small.

I took these two photos from the comfort of my recliner in the Florida room. The Wrens were feasting last night before dusk and the Blue Jay was out and about this morning before I left for work.

The countown

This´s the oldest man in our town. He´s now 98 years old and he´ll definitly ´ll make the 100! ; ) ... He´s still full of live and joy and so he also joined the yearly "Mardi Gras"-festival in our town. This time he went as a "countown" ... on the left side you can see the ages 98-99-100 and on the right side stands "Der Countown läuft..." which means directly translated "the countown counts".. .. so.. well.. that´s not really a good translation, but.. that´s what you can see there.

Mat Ryan: February 24: Abandonment

I see this building everyday past the buildings and the trees on my way to work. Today I decided to walk down and check it out. There was a lot of cool stuff, so I'm posting a lot of pics. I'll let the pictures speak for me.

Robby, day#53

heya! I'm alive, but my connection is still down until March 10. Some pictures taken last sunday for the agency: Ivrea's Carnival with the famous "battle of the oranges". They're totally crazy, 182 injuried in 2 hours. (sorry for the logo, but they're going to be published and I can't post them free of it.) here some samples, other pictures on my website: http://www.flickr.com/photos/robby-rent

Mat Ryan: February 20, 21, 22, 23

Colour and texture? I can do that.
The past few days have been interesting. Between working and playing in the snow, and as Oz said, the Schizophranic weather patterns here in Vermont, things never cease to amaze me.

From the 20, a dead rose at work. It was a not very pretty rose, and looks better, and a little melancholy in black and white.

I was looking at the lens of my camera when cleaning it and notice that I could see through it. I had to see if I could get a picture of my eye. This isn't a great picture, but it creeps the hell out of me. I might try this again later.

Walking to a friends house in the snow, I brought my tripod and camera with me to get this shot. I intensified the red on the camera, other than that, no edit.

Called into work today to say that I wasn't going to work. Left a not for my parents and went snowboarding, and saw a clean van with a DRTYVAN vanity plate. I think they meant the inside of it.

Alison: day 52 - 54

I didn't edit any of these photos beyond resizing them. For starters, I didn't have the time. But really, I wanted to see what my 50mm lens could do -- sans edits.

The first one is my dog, Lucia (Lucy). She's really not as melancholy as she looks in the picture. She's a happy, loveable dog.

The second one is a Peace Lily. Beautiful plant.

The third one is a thumb tack. Nothing more, nothing less. I was tinkering with depth of field.

Dennda: 20 & 21 February

Oz: Winter Wunderland

This last week has seriously kicked my ass. I was out of commission for a few days with a bad flu thing. Now I am way behind on my work, and I haven’t been taking as many pictures. Hopefully good health will lead to more photos. I have been playing around with my new holga and trying some cross processing; hopefully I will be able to get those up here soon. Also, I just scheduled the models for the spring sessions yesterday, so keep your eyes peeled for some good portraits.

Day 43- spring cleaning day – its time to clean the fucking mess that is my room. To do this, I take everything and throw it on the bed, then I neatly put everything back. This process usually repeats every 11 days

Photobucket

Day 44 – cold as ice day – warm up, cool down, warm up cool down, I am getting pretty tired of the meteorological schizophrenia here in Vermont. I am counting the days till the sun comes back to play.

Photobucket

Day 45 – Clarkson day – Went to play Frisbee in Clarkson but my camera battery went kapoot. So instead I have a photo of cute little professor tiny cat the third.

Photobucket

Day 46 – Bowl of Sex day – we have this bowl of condoms next to the front door in our house, and I was stuck recently by how awesome it was. Mysteriously, however, many of the condoms have gone missing, and I am sure that no one here is getting any. It must be gnomes. Horny, horny little gnomes.

Photobucket

Day 47 – Lay in bed day – The death has reared its ugly head, so I spent most of the day in bed taking photos. I discovered that my room is not that interesting in the dark.

Photobucket

Day 48 – manipulation day - I am not big on photo manipulations, but I took this photo of a flame and blew it all out of whack, and I liked it. Its like an eye, looking at you, from the abyss.

Photobucket

Day 49 – head in the clouds day – One of the cool things about laying in my bed is being able to get lost in the clouds. My head has been in the clouds recently, both metaphorically and quite literally. I cant seem to focus, the siren call of love and summer beckons me. Its sound lights me a flame.

Alison (always gets behind) Day 49 - 51: At the Office.

The last few days I've been feeling ridiculously uninspired. On my lunch breaks I've been walking around outside, taking pictures.

These are the best ones I came up with.

Day # 49

It's a giant fern in front of my office. Other than that, I'm not sure what to say. Haha.

This is Day # 50

We had several dead or dying trees cut down around our office. That always conflicts me. I wish we didn't have to cut them down, but I also wish they weren't dead or dying. If we were cutting down live and flourishing trees, I'd probably be too occupied with being chained to the trees to be posting on here even quasi regularly.

Oh, and this photo is of the split wood. I thought it was fascinating, but I'm still not convinced I couldn't have captured in a more intriguing way.

Day # 51

This is the ground. Honestly, when you walk here, you step on more acorns than you do grass. And every time you round the back corner of the building, dozens of squirrels scatter.

Am I the only one who's feeling uninspired these days? Meh.

Lily Rose Post 28, Cat Toys

So Wednesday night I hung out with some friends and we bought an 18 pack of Bud Light. When I woke up Thursday and started cleaning up and breaking down the box, I quickly realized that Bella would love to use it as a fort. She has an obsession with boxes and bags! I tore the end flaps off of one side and gave it to her, but she didn't want to go in, so I ripped the other side open and that made her MORE than happy! I was playing with her and Tommy decided that he wanted to join in the fun. I was able to get a few pictures of each of them, and although I cut the top of his head off in this shot, I liked this one the best. I love how his little "arms" are stretched out and trying to grab my camera strap and he just looks happy.

Mat Ryan: February 18 and 19

Things people have in their cars brighten my day, and I fully support Trojan brand condoms.

I saw this in a customers car today, and it made me laugh. The owner iss actually one of my high school art teachers.
