I found this buddy covered in ants in the driveway. I hosed him down until the ants were mostly gone, then I picked the rest off with a piece of palm frawn. Then I carried the guy over to the picnic table to photograph him. All the while he was very alive and cranky. I did return him the grass where hopefully the ants couldn't find him. I just hope he hadn't surrendered himself to the ants to die -- then I would have foiled his whole plan.
