Jared Day 16: Rotten To The Core

Despite the title this apple was pretty good. Afraid that's all I've got tonight, not really feeling it today.

Jared Day 14: Smoked Salmon

Close up of my second dinner tonight, Thinly sliced smoked salmon on top of a toasted bagel with cream cheese. I'm trying to quit smoking right now so pretty much all I want to do is eat. This may or may not be the first of many food photos to come...

Jared Day 13: Steve Irwin Would Be Pissed!

Yeah, This here is a close up of one of my crocodile skin boots. I thought it looked kinda cool with the light hitting it so I snapped this right quick so I can go to sleep now.

Jared Day 12: Drum Head Painting

My lady painted this on one of my old, thrashed bass drum heads. She actually did a whole series of drum head paintings of all different sizes. This one is hanging up in our place.

Jared Day 10: Alison, I See Your Cat Photo And Raise You One

So I've been up for 27 hours and can't seem to find sleep... So I decided to mess with the cat. I can't believe I got her to move only her head for 30 seconds.

Jared Day 9: Ho Hum

My workday left me pretty unenthusiastic, having said that please enjoy this crappy picture of stale popcorn.

Jared Day 8: Graveyard

Took a late night walk through the graveyard near my house tonight. Kinda creepy. Kinda cool. It was pitch black except for some lights in the distance. Took a few shots in the freezing cold, this was the best of them. Didn't have a tripod so I used a headstone. I don't think they minded.

Jared Day 7: The Duck Painting

So this is the "duck painting". It's pretty huge, it's on green velvet and if you look closely it has what appears to be blood splattered all over it. My girlfriend and I found it on the side of the street in Boston about 9 years ago. It has hung in the living room of every place we've lived in since. It is both incredibly tacky and incredibly creepy, you know, due to the blood and all. I can't decide if I would like to know the story behind this thing or just continue to let my mind make up horrific stories.

Jared Day 5: Fun With Shutter Speed Part II: Self Portrait x5

Messing around with the shutter again tonight. I took this one in the driveway, just set it on the back of may car and slowly walked around for 20 seconds.

Jared Day 4: Fun With Shutter Speed

I've been playing around with shutter speed lately. Took these tonight looking down onto interstate 89 about 5 minutes from my house. Lack of tripod and shaking hands due to the 30 degree temp left me with these two out of about 20. I went to the airport and attempted to get one of an airplane landing but it came out pretty crappy. On the plus side I've got another 361 days to try and get a good one.

Jared Day 3: First Snowfall In New Hammy

The first snowfall of the season came seemingly out of nowhere today, making for an hour long white out. Snapped these while on a cigarette break at work. The third picture is the view out my front windshield before I turned the wipers on.

Jared Day 2: Sushi

Sushi for dinner, it was the only part of my day that was worth mention. I didn't have my camera with me so I used the iPhone. Not the greatest shot but it was a pretty uninspiring forgettable day. I messed around for a bit with editing in Gimp 2.6 which I just got and basically know nothing about yet.
