Alison: Day 98: More flowers

Since i'm on the topic of flowers, here are the remains of my Valentine's Day roses.

Beauties they are.

Alison: Day 97: Salsa Bouquet

JM buys me flowers on occasion and almost always gets the same bouquet he bought me the first time we went on a date -- the salsa bouquet. It's a beautiful arrangement of the most vibrantly colored flowers you'll ever see.

This is one of the roses. I hung it to dry after the flowers had started to wilt.

Alison: Day 18

These are the poinsettias that Jon-Michael bought me for Christmas. Beautiful, but toxic to kitties.

Alison: Still not counting.

Gardenia, fresh-bloomed. Beautiful flowers with the scent to die for. I love them. This one's on my desk at work.

Dennda: Last week - April :)

I have been very busy lately and I couldn't touch my camera for some time because I left in the morning and came back in the evening, with the same schedule, so no time or appetite for photos. So I make it up by posting this photo reportage I've made today, in the central park of Bucharest, Cismigiu. It was a flower fair, the first one I've seen here, in Bucharest. It was very nice, and the mayor Sorin Oprescu came too (it's the person in the white jacket with sunglasses hanging on his shirt). There were also young people dressed like people did a century ago that gave flowers to the people from the park. :)

Laura, Post 8. Didn't make it.

I forgot to cover/bring in my potted plants again last night. Sadly, they didn't make it :(

Laura, post No. 5. Flower power!

I was very, very pleased when I woke up this morning and realized the begonias I'd forgotten to cover had, in fact, mostly survived last night's BIG CHILL. Yay!
