Alison -- day 21 -- ring holding kitteh!
this little darling is a ring-holder. It's pretty cute and I keep it in my cabinet with all my jewelries. All you do is drop the rings down over her tail.
Anyhow, I took the photo through a bottle of body spray. Just happened to be set up this way and I felt it made for an interesting perspective.
meeeeow.

Alison: Day 15: Pints of Guinness.
This is one of my all-time favorite bands, coincidentally another local band, Against Me!. They're insanely talented and even thinking about them gives me the tingly feelings of adrenaline pumping through my veins. Yay. Here they are playing at Common Grounds in Gainesville -- a ticket my beloved boyfriend bought me for either Christmas or my birthday, I'm not entirely sure which. I love that boy.

Alison: Day 14 -- perspective.
what a sloppy room I have right now, but this is it -- the lovely scenary from my bed. =)
I tried doing what Audrey does and just taking a photo of something around me. This is the best I could come up with tonight. You have a far more challenging task ahead of you than I realized, Aud. I look forward to seeing how you capture your daily life in these coming days.
That's Morty in the tank.

Alison: Day 12: off.
I had a week day off. Holy crap. I didn't know what to do with myself, so I stayed in jammies for over half the day. And I only got dressed so I could go get laundry detergent.
Here's how Lucy spent her day:

Alison: Day 11: FOUND!
Found my wallet!!
After almost a week in all types of weather, I accidentally discovered the wallet I had recently laid to rest.
I thought sure I threw it in the land fill, recycled it, or donated it to an entirely too over-stocked thrift store on accident. But here it sat on my back deck railing .... lonely, and undoubtedly cold.

Day 5: Alison and the huge, over-compensating truck
took this picture to demonstrate how idiotic people really are. I wish I wasn't so kind, I wouldn't have obscured the license plate, then maybe someone could track this person down and shake them free of their apparently enormous desire to polute our very small and generous planet and also maybe cure them of their need to clearly compensate for some presumably terrible misfortune.
That, my friends, is not just a giant, coincidentally filthy pipe in the back of that truck. It is, in fact, the exhaust. Proof? Note the lack of exhaust under the carriage. It's got to come out some place. And when it does come out, it's black as coal.
This douche drives around my town. Maybe next time I see HER, I'll snap a photo of the billowy black smoke she dumps every time she accelerates.

Alison: day 2: road to the ONF House.
Took this one on the way out to my parents' house. That house is so important to me. It's the only place I'll always call home -- the only place on the planet that will forever possess my heart, and the only place I'll be able to show my children and my grandchildren with family pride and say "this is where your grandparents and greatgrandparents raised me."
Driving there sometimes is daunting and I dread it, but once I'm cruising, listening to music, I quickly begin to recollect how perfect it was to live so far away.
I'm sure at some point in the next 363 days, you'll see photos of the house.
By the way, I took this photo while driving. I tightened the camera strap to my wrist as tight as possible, put my finger on the shutter, and stretched my arm as low as possible down the side of my door. Pretty stupid really, but definitely made for a cool photo if you ask me.
