Robby, day#53
heya! I'm alive, but my connection is still down until March 10. Some pictures taken last sunday for the agency: Ivrea's Carnival with the famous "battle of the oranges". They're totally crazy, 182 injuried in 2 hours. (sorry for the logo, but they're going to be published and I can't post them free of it.) here some samples, other pictures on my website: http://www.flickr.com/photos/robby-rent

Robby, day#7: nike shoes

hey again! I hope you don't mind if my photos aren't taken daily but they come from my recent travels. Sorry for this but I don't have time to shoot daily and most of the photos for the newspaper I work for are about current events like politics, press conferences, car crashes, sometimes dead people... so I think it would be more interesting showing you something else. today's pic comes from my travel in USA; a warm morning of last august I was walking in Amsterdam Avenue, going to B&H (biggest photography shop I've ever seen) and I saw a pair of nike shoes abandoned under a traffic light... I just loved them, I had the same ones when I was teenager, so I felt them a bit mine too. I like the background, people, cars, high buildings... it is so "NY-style", you know, for a guy used to live in a small city where the highest building is like 2 floors, NY is so... wow. I think this is one of the last picture taken with my old Canon camera...

Robby, day #6: Øresund Bridge

hello from italy, strangers! nice to meet you all. well, today's pics comes from my recent trip in North Europe. I was in Malmö, on Christmas Day, and while clouds were on Sweden, the sun was going down on Denmark. You can see the Øresund Bridge, which connects the two countries... 12kms over the sea and the last 4kms under the sea level. It was 3pm, quite odd for a sunset, but not over there in winter.
