Mat Ryan: Things that I've seen in July

This girl sits on top of Mt. Moosilauke, answering questions for people. Cropped, and changed colour tones.

Some graffiti that I saw on a walk, I have no clue what it says, just like the over all texture of it...

A flower in my yard~

Some roots on a path, cropped and converted to black and white... Did I mention that I love my new 70-300mm lens?

A mushroom in the woods! Decided to make it trippy....

Alison

Took head shots of a friend yesterday. This is her. This is one of the shots. I hope it works for her. I had such a great time taking them.

This is a picture I took the day before yesterday. Took it while on a weekend run-away with Jon-Michael to Clearwater Beach.

The days before my surgery I had one of my penpals as a guest. On the day I had to go to the hospital she gave me a little gift. In the package I found those little toy - my new mascot! =)

This is the metal-stuff, which was in my ankle for more than a year.
It "stayed with me" from the 28th May 2008 till the 16th July 2009. I´m not sure what I should do with it. My dad told me to get a frame and hang it on my wall.. that isn´t such a bad idea, but maybe you got a better one!?! ; )

That was the scar on my ankle - before my second surgery. I thaught I should make a photo, before it gets "destroyed".

On this photo you can see the St. Pauls church in Passau. Passau´s a city in Germany - the first city behind the austrian border. We went there just for one day. It´s a really nice for a daytrip! =)

Alison: July 14.

These are photos from the past days -- days I missed posting, but not photographing. The first one is a really funny bird who insisted on watching me eat lunch. The second one is a very low quality photograph of a bunch pool noodles (flotation devices) for the aquacize class at my gym. I thought the colorful arrangement of noodles was interesting, so when I finished my laps one night, I used my camera phone to take this shot. It's a bad submission in the sense that it's not even taken with a real camera, but I didn't want the visual to go undocumented.

More to come. I promise.

Mat Ryan: July 12: Eat Fiber/Get Regular

I've finally figured out how to use the photo editing software on my new computer. Random weddings, and walks through the woods have proved to be scenic and rewarding. And of course, my high carb diet has possibly helped me take pictures more regularly.
Cheers!

Alison: Still not counting.

Gardenia, fresh-bloomed. Beautiful flowers with the scent to die for. I love them. This one's on my desk at work.

Alison. I've lost count.

My friend Vania wrote something really awesome on her Facebook about this project. I kind of got emotional and realized how much I regret not being consistently involved anymore. It became plainly obvious that, while I may not have realized it, I have been missing the adventure I find in seeking out and capturing one photo a day.

Here are a few to attempt and fill some gap. I'm going through my hard drives tonight to find the rest of the ones I've taken since I stopped posting on the site.

These are my happily married friends, Justin and Alisha. They're expecting their first baby here -- Bryce Nathanial. I was lucky enough to take the first official family photos. =]

This photo, taken just the other day, is of a bird that hung out with me while I ate my lunch at a theme park.

This is a necklace and pair of earrings my mom handed down to me.

Ponce Inlet, looking up inland, around sunset.

This is my Goddaughter, Nhyya, with my dog, Blondie. Blondie loves her lil' sister!
