Sarah-Jo

My boss LOVES bears- she has life fifty little beany type bears and what not in her office as well as a few stuffed ones. This one- Mr Bear- has been sitting in her window for the last few semesters.
Stopped by the church and took a few shots. Nothing special, just kinda liked the lighting in this one

Sarah-Jo: seven photos.

The Puzzle

My little attempt to combine art and recycling- took old piece from a puzzle thats been missing piece for years and descided to try and work them into an art form. They are being glued to a canvas that I have painted black *shrugs*
X's4

Took this early one morning at the college while waiting for my boss to get there to let me in- yes I actually got there before she did LOL
It struck me as kinda neat- there are 4 different materials in this one shot- Brick, stone, Cement, and grass ^_^ cool eh?

Crystal Clear

I am really happy with how this turned out- Brilliant blue sky, the sun was at the perfect angle, and the glass just shines!

Beauty of a Flower

Close up of a Hibiscus flower- I have always loved these flowers!

On the Wall

Simple shot but I like the contrast between the red brick and the white of the lamp

Ok these next two were taken On Sunday and yesterday
There is a special story behind them-
My church is very special to me. I have gone here since I was 4 years old. Over 15 years ago, our church burned to the ground when an arson went through the South and set fire to like 20 churches. I stood there and watched it burn. Afterwards we rebuilt this church building . We have a bell- that now sits in a small brick archway to the side of the sanctuary. The bricks in the archeway include bricks from our old building we managed to salvage, new ones that are in the new sanctuary as well as a few that were donated by members for the rebuilding process. So yeah just a little look into that part of my life ^_^

Sarah Jo Day 10 and 11

Ray of Hope.
Taken while driving around- took it out the car window LOL So I guess you would call this a luck shot. I think it turned out fairly well.
We all go through hard times and face difficulties- we just have to keep looking for the ray of hope and keep on keeping on.

Childhood Innocence

This is an older photo but I havent gotten anything for today and this little guy has actually been on my mind for a while now.

This is Adrian. He is like my adopted nephew- Ive known him since before he was born. His parents were good friends of mine for years. Anyways, over a year ago they divorced and she of course took Adrian. They moved out of state and I havent seen Adrian in over a year. I miss him something terrible and I was thinking about him today and crying cuz I missed him so much. He would be five years old now. Anyways, plesae forgive me for using a recycled photo, it was just something I needed to do.

Sarah Jo Day 7

Little late- sorry having comp issues lately :-P

This is the clock tower at Central Florida Cimmunity College.

I walked under it for the last time as a student on Decemeber 12th when I graduated. I am still at CFCC as an English tutor- at least for this new semester- then I will probably be moving on... but time will tell.

Before you start asking yes this is edited- color has been edited and played with as has the filter. Just thought it was an ok pic and wanted to mess around with the colors some ^_^

Let me know what you think!

This Is Life

This is my church- where I have attended since I was 4 years old. This is our second building, the first was destroyed by an arson fire close to 15 years ago. I stood and watched that building burn to the ground.

I have always loved the look this building has- the red brick and the white pillars and doors- I just love it!

Constructive criticism is ok ^_^
