Jason: Day 12
I was hanging out on my day off today at Susan's house. I was sitting at her computer and noticed that the string was hanging down from the edge of the bed. I was instantly inspired to take a photo of this. It would appear to be that the cat on the bed (Tom) is teasing the cat on the floor (Bella) with the string.Sunday, January 18, 2009
Oz : New Year New Day
I have been on the run from myself for the past two weeks. The internet is sparse for this modern day carnie. I've been traveling so hence minimal posts. Moments, and memories are hard to capture, it is the mundane things that are the most striking to me. I love remembering moments in time, that’s what my posts are about. This is a year of change and I invite you to join me. Let’s explore this insane messy existence and the swirling of the cosmos together.
Day 1- New Years day - I am sitting on a ledge both physically and metaphorically this year is about taking the leap into the next phase of my life. Lets hope I land on both feet.
Day 2 – Experience LA day – View from perishing square, just around the corner from my temporary apartment.
Day 3 –
Day 4 – No leaving apartment day – I smoked too many cigarettes and played to much xbox today.
Day 5 – Observatory day – Went to Griffith Observatory today, I learned all about space and had some face time with James Dean.
Day 6 – Blast from the Past day – Met up with an old friend from middle school today. Spent some time thinking about the past and watched the sunset over downtown from the roof.
Day 7 – Self portrait day – I have been experimenting with self portraits recently. I need to get a shutter release thingy but for now I have to hit the timer button repeatedly.
Day 8 – Pirate bar day – Went with Mitch to our favorite bar only to find that the hipsters had invaded it requiring a long wait after the art walk. He took me to another bar a few blocks away that had a pirate theme. Awesome.
Day 9 – Rolling fog day – A heavy fog rolled into downtown and everything looked all eerie, went to the roof and took some more photos.
Day 10 – Haunted hotel day – Wondered around the hotel today, some rooms and floors are completely abandoned, It was too creepy and I scared myself a few times. Took some out of focus pictures of
Day 11 – All for me day – Packed my stuff to leave for Sundance, took some photos in bed cause I was feeling saucy.
Day 12 – Full moon bond day – James Bond party and the moon was full. It looked perfect in a way that my camera cannot capture. The clouds and the light were just incredible.
Day 13 – Starfish beach day – Went to the beach with the brother, a very nice way to end my trip. Under the boardwalk we found a starfish,
Look foraward to daily posts when I get back from being out on the road.

Mat Ryan: January 12 and 13

On the left: the only picture that I took yesterday. The moon was full, well, waning, and I really wanted to get a picture of it, I even put my tripod in the car, but I had such a hard time concentrating after driving back from Boston from dropping off my bosses dad that I just couldn't focus. And nor could my camera. I think the picture reflects my mood very well.
On the right: I went to a Dartmouth girls hockey game tonight, and it was fantastic. Dartmouth rocked Providence 7-3. At least I think that's what the score was, either way, Dartmouth kicked ass. Anyways, a lot of the shots look the same since it's hockey and it was my first time photographing sports, but this one makes me laugh since the girls are headbutting each other.
Day 12 For sarah Jo - Sorry Its late
Lily Rose Day 12: Running, But Not Getting Anywhere....
Alison, Day # 12: co-pilot.
This one's another cop-out. I spent most of the day flying -- which, really means I had many awesome opportunities to take potentially mind-blowing photographs. But I opted to sleep instead.I'll try to keep this explanation much shorter than the past ones.
This is Patrick, my best friend -- the one I drove to Texas with. He's a Naval Pilot.
I snapped this shot of him while he was taking me back to the airport to fly home.
I titled it co-pilot because I made a tacky joke when we started our road trip about how for this particular 'flight,' I was his co-pilot. We both kind of rolled our eyes.
So the photo: it's him in his flight suit and he wasn't too thrilled I took the picture because he's even less photogenic than I am. The khaki rectangular-ish shaped item on his lap is his cover. The patch on his shoulder is a University of Florida patch, obviously, and it says "Go Gators, Fly Navy." And the small gold bar above that patch signifies his rank as Ensign. Also, he gets a promotion in May.
I'm very proud of him.
