Day 9: "OCD, Exhibit A"Actually, this is not just a case of OCD (CDO, when alphebetized as it should be), this is actually how we're supposed to organize the pallets at work. My OCD kicks in when I set a limit of 25 bins per stack to keep it neat. I adjusted the color level so that it looked more like the actual colors as seen on any given day. Even though I might have lowered the exposure a bit, it still seems a bit too bright.
Day 10I had a hard time picking a good sunset photo out of the 39 sunset photos I took on this day. This one struck me the most because of the hard orange color which quickly fades out around the edges. Also, the bush/tree being in the shot adds a certain mood to the shot, don't you think?
Day 11First of all, I want to say that I cheated on this photo. I did not take any photos on this day, but I thought this shot from the day before was a good shot.
I was sitting at the "front circle" of the hospital and thought I would look around for some interesting shots. I zoomed in real close at the intersection in front of the hospital. This is one of many that I was able to take.

pabs(t)mear: First post: January
I know that it is the 22nd and not the first but I figured better late then never. I am not a photographer, but I am interesting in capturing memorys, actions, and moments so that I may never forget what or why or where I have been.

Oz : New Year New Day
I have been on the run from myself for the past two weeks. The internet is sparse for this modern day carnie. I've been traveling so hence minimal posts. Moments, and memories are hard to capture, it is the mundane things that are the most striking to me. I love remembering moments in time, that’s what my posts are about. This is a year of change and I invite you to join me. Let’s explore this insane messy existence and the swirling of the cosmos together.
Day 1- New Years day - I am sitting on a ledge both physically and metaphorically this year is about taking the leap into the next phase of my life. Lets hope I land on both feet.
Day 2 – Experience LA day – View from perishing square, just around the corner from my temporary apartment.
Day 3 –
Day 4 – No leaving apartment day – I smoked too many cigarettes and played to much xbox today.
Day 5 – Observatory day – Went to Griffith Observatory today, I learned all about space and had some face time with James Dean.
Day 6 – Blast from the Past day – Met up with an old friend from middle school today. Spent some time thinking about the past and watched the sunset over downtown from the roof.
Day 7 – Self portrait day – I have been experimenting with self portraits recently. I need to get a shutter release thingy but for now I have to hit the timer button repeatedly.
Day 8 – Pirate bar day – Went with Mitch to our favorite bar only to find that the hipsters had invaded it requiring a long wait after the art walk. He took me to another bar a few blocks away that had a pirate theme. Awesome.
Day 9 – Rolling fog day – A heavy fog rolled into downtown and everything looked all eerie, went to the roof and took some more photos.
Day 10 – Haunted hotel day – Wondered around the hotel today, some rooms and floors are completely abandoned, It was too creepy and I scared myself a few times. Took some out of focus pictures of
Day 11 – All for me day – Packed my stuff to leave for Sundance, took some photos in bed cause I was feeling saucy.
Day 12 – Full moon bond day – James Bond party and the moon was full. It looked perfect in a way that my camera cannot capture. The clouds and the light were just incredible.
Day 13 – Starfish beach day – Went to the beach with the brother, a very nice way to end my trip. Under the boardwalk we found a starfish,
Look foraward to daily posts when I get back from being out on the road.

Patrick: Days 8 & 9
This piece is entitled away. It is technically a screencap but it is what it is. A usuable image. I was talking with a friend on aim and I typically have to run off and do various errands while we talk. So I'm constantly hitting the 'not available' thingy. This image went through the basic darkrooming process.
I call this one cut. It is actually a picture of a picture I took back in high school; however, I keep it on the front of my fridge cuz I really just like it. Its something I see every day in any case. At night my cat likes to mess with the frames on my fridge and this time something about the image was just memorably pitiful.
The picture itself was printed in a real dark room, while the image I'm presenting was completed in a digital darkroom.
Have a nice evening.

Lily Rose Day 9: Go Gators! National Champions AGAIN!!

So, I took my friend home after watching the BCS National Championship game and since I had to drive past University Avenue anyway, I decided to go down and take a few shots of the post-win madness! I know it's a blurry shot, but I think you get the picture. lol Pun intended....
The streets were blocked off by cops and huge trucks, so that no cars were actually on the biggest part of University Ave on campus. So I got detoured down one of the side roads, where I parked in the first spot I found and walked the rest of the way to campus. It was the most exciting thing I'd seen in quite some time, namely the last time we won a national championship title! I heard that the street lights were greased this year! hahaha So this is Gainesville Rock City when the Gators win! GO GATORS!!!!

Alison, Day 9: The Boys.
I'm in Pensacola tonight, and heading to Corpus Christi tomorrow morning. Mat Ryan: Jan. 9

I had a really really really (emphasis on the "really") hard time figuring out which photo to use tonight. Alcohol, or people... Hmmm.. It was a difficult decision.
My friend Chris is moving back to Montana and some friends organized a going away party at the India Queen, which is a local restaurant/dive bar. Anyways, there were a lot of photo's from tonight, but I feel that this one is just... real. It was accidental, just a random shot, and I think I got it right with the girls being framed by the back of the heads of 2 guys. I think Kerry and Melissa might be pissed, I'll tell them that it's up here later, but in this picture they're both very photogenic. And real. Hopefully they don't mind.
