Happy 2009 to everyone! I hope you've enjoyed it thus far. I must say, the festivities went on long into the morning for us out here in the Ocala National Forest. We had a mini-bonfire and a hayride and it was more than entertaining.
My friend Angela (featured in the photograph) is twirling her Morning Glory sparkler near the bonfire. Susan, my sister, is doing the same in the background. Since this was taken after midnight, I'm going to say it counts as a January 1 photograph. =P
Sorry I'm just posting this today. I spent all but about 5 of yesterday's daylight hours sleeping. I'm such a bum.
I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone of a few things.
1. If you want to invite other people to the blog, please feel free. All I need is their email address to send them an invitation to become an author. I think we can all agree, the more the merrier!
2. To make searches easier, you can add labels to your posts (ie: Alison, day one). You can also title your posts with your name. This is up to you.
3. Please, please, please, when you get the time, send me a blurb about yourself so that I can add it to the sidebar's "meet the photographers" section.
